Sure, they are 24" x 1/2 and 3/16 inch thick. The picture probably makes them look longer.Darryl Young wrote:John, do you have the dimensions of those fiberglass bars?

I am looking forward to the 3 day weekend. I should be able to close the box this weekend. The back is close to ready, The rims have the fancy A4 kerfing installed and radiused. I have all but one brace on the top and have started to shape them.

You obviously don't have any cats! I've never seen lining like that, it's accordian-ish looking, where did you get it?

You can buy the kerfing at AST Advanced Shell Technology.

It is cool stuff, but a little expensive. It is fun to work with because it curves up and down as well as sideways so it is easy to follow the rim. I radiused the rims both before and after I installed the kerfing. John Hall does that in his videos. It made life a bunch easier for me, as there is usually a bunch of rim that needs to be sanded down before the inside of the waist is flush.

I'd have to hit the lottery or rob a bank to be able to afford those cool "special" clamps for that lining, but I like that it's multi axial.
