Friends and Foes?

Post by Herman »

By going through the possible preferences, I see we can label members as friend or foe.
It does not come to me to label one of you such. Don't now if anyone else does, but to me your all some kind of partner in crime. There are sometimes arguments, some step a little back while giving comments, some do a step foreward. I for me don't want to hurt a single one of you. In email arguments can sound somewhat harsh. If I do so please tell me.

So I won't label someone a foe. And giving everyone a sticker "friend" is also pointless.
Maybe the item Friend/Foe is tighten to the used software, but IMO it can be lost.

That functionality comes from the forum software. It was developed for those kinds of large forums where there might be hundreds or thousands of members and the topics might include politics and religion or what-have-you. if someone really rubbed you, you could label them a foe, or to have some stand out (among the thousands) you could label them a friend. probably not too applicable here, I hope.

as moderator I use the foe function daily for the spammers that try posting all the time. If I ever miss one let us know

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I am a sucker for some witty alliteration, and this was some of the wittiest and alliteration-ist stuff I have read in a while. Kudos to you Dave B. Kudos.

I have, on occasion, wanted to make myself my own foe. Then later, I am glad I didn't do that because I like myself again. Then the cycle repeats. This post may have broken the cycle. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.
