Koa D42 kit from John Hall
Finished the koa project. Lots of learning on this one. And lots of emails to John. The neck thickness is to Martin spec and the shape is asymmetrical (thinner on treble side). It has a very deep monster tone with a long sustain.

I really like koa topped guitars. I bought one for my wife when we were first married 46 years ago. It took about 10 years for the instrument top open up, but when it did the sound was, and continues to be, magnificent.
I'm sure the one you built will be a delight.
