Still enjoying my FIRST guitar build

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

I finished this guitar in October of 2008 and still enjoying playing it.
It was a kit from LMI

I was so green I put the 14th fret marker ABOVE the fret instead of below. After 23 guitars I believe it's at least the 2nd best playing guitar I've made. I'll keep it till I die!

Nice, maybe a thread of "The First Build (No BS, this is really IT)" should be started. How many have pics of it?

That's awesome. It was a great build, Kevin! My story is similar. My 1st build was a kit from Blues Creek Guitars and remains one of the best I have in sound and feel. I ended up replacing the top a couple years after I built it due to issues because I misplaced the bridge plate originally. But I still call it my kit guitar. I'll never part with this one.
