here is a top bracing set up from a 1939 early D18 with wide neck rear shifted scallop bracing

Neat!! Thanks John. I am currently making a 27.5” scale 12-fret OM bass, emulating off one you posted here a while back. I was worried I pushed the X too far back but wanted to ensure the bridge had plenty of bracing. Looks like it’s pretty close to what you posted though.
