Big Thank you

Post by tippie53 »

With the loss of the OLF not many forums are left out there and I want to thank all that participate but mostly

John Read
He works behind the scenes keeping this forum running , without him who knows where we would be

Diane Kaufmann
You find her helping with the admin duties and she and John keep this place running

I am looking at the future and I am hoping we can set this up to run as long as there is an interest in Luthery

So I would like to get some help in doing this.

It may mean we have to put together a board of directors and admin help so we can do the business of keeping this going.

That means we may need to ask for money once in a while to pay for server and web space

John and Diane please chime in. I want this to run forever is possible so we need to create this board asap. I am not ill I am fine but its time to make this change so it doesn't just fold
thank you

A short history is that this was first created by Bill Cory then he sold it to me. I bought it with 3 partners
Bob Cefalo
Waldron Instrument
Myself

I am technically the last one so its time to turn this over to the community

It's been an honor to help keep this forum going. Diane does a ton of work and there's also a laundry list of things KGF needs such as server maintenance, upgrades, etc. If anyone is interested in assisting with server-side support, such as phpBB, database, etc., please reach out to me.

I'm immensely grateful for this forum. And I'm way too far past an age at which I can take on new tasks.

If something is asked which I think I can do, I'll raise my hand.
