I'm currently French Polishing the top. I will do a hybrid, the back, sides and neck will be wipe on poly. Stay tuned.

well, here she is, warts and all. After looking at John Hall's finishing videos I guess I should consider more work. Not now, too much going on in other areas.
I shared the following in another post but it is so funny...
I had an old beater that I had played for years. I had put it away as I tried higher end guitars. I had recently pulled the beater out of storage and was saddened to realize that I had been happy for so long with such a poor sounding (flat, just plane flat) guitar. A day or so ago my wife had been nagging me about not wearing my hearing aids. Forgot that I had them in and went to practice. I was amazed at what I heard. Immediately picked up the beater and realized that there was nothing wrong with it. My hearing had deteriorated such that I wasn't hearing the high frequencies.

Your guitar looks just fine. Playability and sound is what's most important! Good job.
