Recycled wood
Just finished this very plain tenor ukulele that I made from recycled house deck redwood and miscellaneous left over unused parts from past shop projects. I never get to do anything without binding, inlay, or a complicated lacquer finish, so this was a fun project. I made it for our annual Big Island Ukulele Guild show that starts today and runs through the end of October.

The neck is not redwood. It is Spanish cedar with a fat redwood stringer in it. Carbon fiber in there too.
