Gap in side juncture about1/16”
I know a binding piece will cover it is there any other possible problem?
Happened when glueing tail block.

Guitars have end grafts. When you install the graft, this area will be cut completely out. You will need to level the tail block with the sides, so that you get good contact all around, and no hump when you install the top and back. Then you're good to go. Here's an example of a graft. They're usually made from contrasting wood or ivoriod. They're easy to install.
You can reglue the tail block. You can use heat from a hair dryer to loosen the glue. If you do this, make sure to remove all of the old glue from the tail block and sides before regluing.

next time use tape and tape the joint closed before you glue
with the pictures D put up you can see that area will be covered or the neck hides it
