New member, need input

First of all, a little about me: I have played acoustic guitar for nearly 20 years and have had the desire to build one for about half of that. I am pretty carpentry savvy and have build quite a bit of furniture. I realize guitar building is quite different than furniture building but I do believe at this point I know enough about wood to start my first kit build (with the desire to one day build from scratch). I have also built a couple of telecaster bodies from scratch, although to this day I hardly ever touch electric guitar.

I happened into the "kit" I have very much accidentally. A guy on another forum advertised a martin guitar kit for a very good price. What I received is a box of parts that look like 2nds. I don't even have a bridge or truss rod. When I alerted the guy (who purchased on EBay 3 years ago) he had no clue. He just realized he was way in over his head. He also gave me a substantial refund that made the "kit" an even better deal. At the end of the day they are good looking parts and the majority are very usable with a little work. That leads me to why I am posting. The sides as you will see was supposed to be an OMJM with a simple dovetail joint. The wood is very nice and I can't actually find the issue with this part. They were sold already glued to the neck block and the kerfing is installed. The neck, however, is a simple tenon. The headstock overlay is gorgeous.

Sorry for the long first post!

My questions:

Is it possible to remove the neck block without damaging the side wood?

What are my other options?

Sorry only my foot is in focus... you can still clearly see the profile of the tenon.

If the tenon is tight to the mortise you are ok
I have used these in the past. There are a few things you need to know
A does the scale length match the bracing plot?
B is the top going to match

Do you have pics of the top and the brace layout?
