Can you Say Road Trip!

Post by Benjy »

Just arrived back home after a 2500 mile road trip/vacation! Went to Niagara Falls, RC Tonewoods, Blues Creek Guitars, The Martin Factory, New and old and Hershey World!

Here are some of the spoils of my trip!

A beautiful Figured/bearclaw Sitka Spruce Top, Padauk/Bubinga 3 piece back and Bubinga sides.

An awesome all Mahogany kit form John at Blues Creek Guitars. John inlayed the Martin torch in the headstock, the snowflakes on the fret board and inlayed the rosette for me. He also supplied gold Grover tuners, gold fret wire and all the binding, purfling and pearl, per my daughters request!

I am letting the wood acclimate to its new home so I hope to get started in a week or 2.
