Well the strings are on and my first impressions are
A the sustain is amazing
b it has a very woody sound

Well, the weather has turned too cold to build guitars in my shop right now, which means that I probably won't be working on the "topless" kit you sent me until spring. I these tops come through, do you think they'd be a suitable substitute for red cedar as a top for a finger-style OOO? I won't be doing a video on how to for a while yet but I would like to try it . If I can get it right I may. I am not a fan of cedar on steel but that is just me. As for tone I think it may be best described as less treble but good balance.
