Hey guys, long time no post... It's been even longer since I've posted any of my builds. I do a poor job at uploading pictures the "old fashioned" way, with how easy it is to upload to media sites now, via straight off of your phone. Here's some pictures.
Sitka Spruce top
Cocobolo back and sides
Curly Koa bindings
Ziricote fingerboard and pyramid bridge (koa bound)
Abalone diamonds
Koa torch
Waverly tuning machines
Mahogany/wenge/maple 5 piece neck
nice details I really like the bound bridge. Looks fantastic indeed

Thanks for the kind words, fellas. This is the first guitar I've built for "myself" even though I probably won't keep it. I put a lot of thought into all of the details on this one. I have alot more cocobolo and alot more koa. This may be a regular themed model of mine.
John, this is the guitar that I had called you about several weeks ago. I knew I liked the slotted headstock, and I couldn't stand putting a belly bridge on it (for some reason I strongly dislike Martin bridges). The dilemma was making a pyramid bridge not look so awkward looking on a dread, when they are usually on small bodies. I ended up over sizing it the width of the binding, so it's about 1/16-3/32" larger in each direction.
Rick, do you even get anything done at work!? Between forums and guitar browsing, I don't see how there's any time in the day for work, lol. I'm going to get the tools up and running this week, so I'll be up your way shortly with those fingerboards.
Kevin, good to see you're still around on here, one of the few names I recognize from years back.
I post so minimally due to the hassle of uploading to my computer, then to photobucket, then to here. My photos are too large for the upload through the forum page, so I normally don't mess with it.
