Yikes! My wife would be so disappointed if that happened. She watches these babies like a hawk! We were gone to the cabin over the weekend and the babies are still there and fine today.
Now why does everyone think that is a Mary Jane bush. Hmmmm. Japanese Maple.

Over 2 weeks old now, this pics are from this morning.
They should be leaving the next sometime this coming weekend, incredible isn't it!

My wife spent hours watching these birds, taking pictures and video.
After 3 weeks and one day from the day the eggs hatched, the first bird left the nest on Saturday morning, the second bird left the nest Sunday morning around 7:30 am. We have not seen them since. This was a lot of fun for us, and one of those experiences you might only get once.
