Working on a weird Maple

Doing a 14 fret dred with a 1/4 in forward shift brace and 5/15 scalloped tone bars. This is one weird Maple and I used a dark tortoise binding with pearl. I am setting the neck and getting the fretboard ready.

John, that maple is really cool looking! If I had to catagorize the figure I would say Ambrosia but it is really a little bit different than Ambrosia, can't say that I've ever seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I like the maple with the tortise bindig. What a cool looking guitar!
