a 12 stirng Martin conversion

this is a conversion I am doing for a good customer , this is his 2nd conversion I have done.
It came out nice
BRW back and sides 1962 martin D 28 body
new red spruce top and snake wood binding and tuner buttons. 42 style pearl

I take it that the spruce top had a different bracing than the original. Did anything else have to be modified to take the extra strain of the strings? (I'm thinking truss rod, mainly.)

You do such nice work! The snakewood binding/buttons look so cool!

actually the 12 strings just gets a heavier plate and it is 24.9 scale.
They also use light strings

Finally finished this 12 string up. I am waiting on the inlaid pickguard . We elongated the head plate inlay and I think it looks so much nicer.
