12 fret Honduran Rosewood Dred

Post by tippie53 »

Just finished a commission on a 12 fret dred. A great sounding guitar. Old school diamond fretboard 1 3/4 nut dovetail and waverlies

Nice!

How does the sound of a 12 fret dread differ from a 14? I've played 12 fret smaller bodies before but never played a 12 fret dread.

good looking guitar.

Is the body the same size as the 14 fret to the body? I am assuming it is still a long scale. I think I want to make one some time soon.

Great looking Dread! Nothing like a sweet 12 fret. Nice work.
