Subject: Hi

Hi John
I’m sure you’ve heard of Tommy Emmanuel the Australian guitarist.
I went to a solo concert given by him some days ago at the Centre for the Arts in Toronto. My seat was in the circle so meeting him at the end of his performance was not possible much to my disappointment.
Imagine my delight when entering the elevator to go to breakfast next morning in the hotel I find Tommy standing in the corner and very happy to chat.
We had breakfast together and he took great interest in your 000 28 that I had just completed and had with me. I think he was genuinely impressed. It’s a time I will long remember.

Best wishes to you
Dave Freeman

This is awesome!... It is nice to hear stories such as this. John, you might need to get yourself ready for another order?...

I wish he would stop in the shop. This guy is an amazing player. Laurence Juber remarked that he is one of his idols. A great finger picker but also a fantastic entertainer.
