I agree with sylvan as I have epoxied , super glued tite bonded and no glued them. Never had an issue . I do place a filler so the truss rod channel is full .
No Glue will help if you need to pull one out

Just for interest sake I've removed epoxied in rods by using a bit of heat from a heat lamp and putting a bit of tension on the rod. The rod sucks up the heat, softening the epoxy and rises up from the tension.
