Sources for ebony bridges

Post by watergunn »

Hi all.

I am looking for a good source for standard Martin style ebony bridges.

I have purchased some from Stew Mac and LMI.

Does anyone have a good source other than those?

Thanks

Do you have the tooling to make them from blanks? Much more cost effective and satisfying to make.

Never tried. I have all the basic tools. Table saw, drill press, band saw, combo sanders router table, dremels, etc.

Always been kind of afraid of the idea.

You can make them easy, you have all the tools.
You can get the blanks probably from John, LMI, Allied, RC Tonewoods, and others.

Thanks for the reply.
Your MS ebony bridge appears to be exactly what I am looking for.

The slot angle I have been using on my builds has been 3 degrees.

Is that what this one is?

Thanks
