which Oil for Spray Gun?

What kind of oil do should be used in a spray gun before storing it?

I don't use any lube or oil. I just clean it very well .

Like John said, completely disassemble and clean thoroughly. Oil contamination will ruin a finish job real quick and it doesn't take much to do it.
You never know what you are capable of until you actually try....

If I am using the sprayer in a few days I just let it sit. Once I am done I will take it apart and let it soak in the thinner and clean it. Once done I put a little acetone and blow it through.

Do you place the gun itself in the thinner?
