neck block too tall
This is my first guitar build, I have a 000 12 fret from Blues Creek. It seems to me the neck block is too tall. The rim is 3 inches tall, the neck block is 3 10/32 tall. Its a dove tail joint. Do i cut the bottom or split the deference from the center and take some off the top and bottom? Or do I need a deferent block? It seems if I cut the bottom there won't be enough material left to hold the neck. If I cut too much from the top there is not enough room for the truss rod and set up while be difficult.

Re: neck block too tall
trim about 1/8 off the top and the rest off the bottom
