Todd Stock has some really good videos on how to apply epoxy. He uses a squeegee. I found his videos extremely helpful:

I use System 3 and it it quite clear but it is finickier to measure. I use digital scales to be sure I have the weights accurate.B. This Zpozy thing. I used Devcon and it worked great, but I had issues under the finish later. Has ANYONE that has used Zpoxy had issues at the wood surface under the finish down the road? If not, I'm going to try it at some point as I do like the clear fillers, especially on the light colored woods.

I have used zpoxy on all but one guitar. I have had no issues with it. It does have a amber color. I find it tones the wood close to a blond shellac color. I like the tone so I use it.
