Blake,
This is looking really good. I am particularly interested in what you are building here as I am planning a cross over myself. I won't be doing a spanish heel, but it will be an OM shape standard, 14 fret, Ambrosia maple/walnut. Would you mind showing how your braced the top? All pictures are always appreciated.

Hi Thanks for the feedback,

The reason for the wood choices is pretty simple. First I am a lefty so I was looking for a flamenco styled 14 fret guitar. This guitar will be a real responsive 14th slightly radiused neck with nylon stringed instrument with action fairly low. My son and I (Kirk Dixon) play a gipsy kings style of flamenco, Latin jazz with a lot of percussion played on the top of our instruments sound board. Google Kirk Dixon music on you tube to get the idea.. I wanted my first of several I plan on building to be a guitar that has good response. I accompanied some of the construction along with some of my own ideas inside with the bracing. The top will have great response. I will play this guitar on stage with a building preamp as well. I have not decided what I should install. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I plan on building two Indian rosewood spruce tops left and matching right for my son and I next year after this one is complete. I really enjoy building this style of guitar. It took a lot of research to get here. The next two should go quicker.

Thanks again for all your help on the forum.

Blake.
