Hello Blake and welcome to our Forum. You can do a Forum search by using the search function, accessible through the 'Search' button in the upper right hand corner of this page. I'm certain those more familiar with the Spanish heel will offer you opinions and advice.

Hi Blake, and welcome to the forum.
Are you building a classical guitar or steel string. If a steel string, why would you want to do a spanish heel?
I have been on the forum for 4 years now and I don't recall a discussion about spanish heels. If you join Robbie O'briens forum, they are mostly classical builders there, and can assist you.
But we are glad you are here, and I'm sure someone will chime in and may be able to help you.

Looks great! Please give us more detail about what you've done, why you made your wood choices, etc. You've made a lot of progress.
