Finishing Rosewood Bridge

Post by pjl1959 »

I make my own bridges. What's the best way to polish them so they have a similar satin finish to the Martin bridges from Stewmac, LMI, etc?

Before I got my buffer I would sand to 320, add a light coat of mineral oil and wipe off the excess.

Sand mine out to 1200 grit and apply a coat of paste wax, they just glow.
