IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The Mission Statement of KGF is to provide a venue favorable to learning from each other through information sharing. I’m happy to see how involved the active members of the forum have been and would like to personally express my gratitude and thanks. KGF founder, Bill Cory, envisioned an easy going, open environment with access to useful information. With this vision in mind, I am proud to announce that the day to day moderating of the forum is now in the hands of JR Hall and Tommyboy. Since I have a vested interest in the business end of KGF and don’t want KGF to become an advertisement for Blues Creek; I’ve decided to remove myself from forum administration. All else will remain the same.
I want continued activity and nothing but the best for the members of KGF so the rules are simple: be honest, respectful, disagree if you like but disagree with respect and please do not post links leading to non member commercial websites. A rule banner is in the works and if you’re not clear with any rule please do not hesitate to contact a Moderator for discussion and clarification.
In a few weeks KGF will host the first of what I hope will be many participatory events. The event will feature Dave Nichols of Pearl Inlay. I’m open to suggestions as to activities and events that forum members would like to see in the future. Feedback which leads to a better KGF is always welcome.

Thanks John for all you've done here. It is indeed a great place. I get tons of incredible info to help guide my often gone astray build.

Re: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT
thanks
I personally want to that Tommy and Jim for helping me by taking over the day to day moderation's. We want this to be an active and enjoyable forum. There are a few surprises that I am sure we all will like.
I have set up a future skype event with my dear friend Kathy Matsushita . It will be a chance to thank a lady that help so many get started in this hobby.

Re: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT
John, I'm thankful that there was someone who could take over when Bill needed to move on, so thanks for keep a great forum going. I've tried to get Bill to come back and post, but He is pretty busy with life right now.
I've communicated with Kathy, and tried to meet her a couple of years ago at Healdsburg, and kept missing her. She is a nice person and that sounds like fun.

Re: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The kind words are much appreciated . I just felt that as a sponsor and owner , I have turned the keys over to Tom and Jim. They have my permission to treat me as any poster. This forum and for that matter any forum , that is totally owned and doesn't allow open discussion isn't doing the luthier community any justice.
I want the information to be honest information . This isn't a blues creek commercial venture but a luthiery venture. Thanks again and remember that this is your forum not mine .
