I used to fret first but after having seen the results , if you want to take your building to the next level , this technique is one that will do it . If you have any irregularities this can clean them up perfectly.

yes but they also have jig and fixturing you don't , then they put the finished guitar on a plek machine.
I think the point is if you want to get things as good as then can be , this method will make for a high end result . That doesn't mean you can't get a good result the other way , as you can but after 150 guitars I can see that this method is one of the best I have seen.

The brads are not left in Rick and have never put anything like wax or soap on the brads. Have not had a problem removing.

P.S. I should learn to follow the thread and read page 2...etc before posting,but will leave for now. I also do like John,glue the board to neck then level and radius.
