Re: Fish Glue?
In all seriousness fish glue is a great glue for guitars. Dries hard is repairable and low dampening.

Re: Fish Glue?
I buy if from Norland of new Jersey by the gallon. I will be selling it in 2oz bottles. Open time is about the same as tite bond but needs 8 hr clamp time. It is like a cold hot hide glue. It can be heated and this thins it considerably .
cleans up well and I will wipe it off with water followed bu hot water and a tooth brush . Cleans up nicely.

Re: Fish Glue?
Thanks John. If my life was a lawn, the crabgrass in that lawn is cleaning squeeze out while gluing down the bridge. I wonder if the fish glue would be an easier cleanup than the titebond?
Re: Fish Glue?
Once a finish is down, you can use a piece of face soap carved to an edge to coat the surface around the edge of the bridge out line -- I have done this before and after the mask is remove.
Any glue squeeze left will just pop off -- coat the edge of the bridge too.
the soap film/residue will clean off with a damp rag -- boom done!

Re: glues - this may have been posted before, but if not it is an interesting comparison.

Sadly, it does not compare fish glue.
