Hey Bill, you are one of the reasons I started trying to buid guitars. You have been a big help to me, along with Ken Cierp, and I'm glad you have decided to add to the forum.

What is the deal with cats and guitars? I wasn't around when you were the HMFIC of this forum, but like the others have stated, we owe you a lot of gratitude and from what I understand John has tried to keep the objectives and principles in line with what you originally started. Thanks!

Welcome back, Bill.
Danged cats. Cats should be banned from houses with guitars. Cats should be banned..................well nevermind the rest.
I had one I started early this year, where the cat knocked it off the counter, breaking the sides. A local luthier, Steve Kinnaird, helped me with repairing the sides and covering up the flaws. Glad to see yours, with more extensive damage, is getting well again.
Congrats on a great job.

Bill,
I'll be anxious to hear from you what the guitar sounds like after the fix...same, better, worse??? I looks really nice, and I see you did a fancy rosette on the new top.

Wow! a stranger in our midst. I'm still using your book as my guide.
I hope life is treating you well.

That will be interesting to know. My guess is it will sound better.......based on Bill likely has learned a thing or two from subsequent builds........but still interesting.

I remember this guitar sounded really really good before the crash.
