That walnut is unbelievable! I'm on my first build, too, and it involves a ton of tooling up. And asking igner'nt questions on the KitGuitar forum...
Slowest builder on the forum. These things take time. Apparently.

Really nice clean work so far Brian. It's good to see you finally made the plunge and started building. I really like the wood as well and your rosette looks very nice. Like Kevin said, keep those pics coming. There is almost always time to get something done each day even if it is just to get the tools/glue/sandpaper ready for the next step. That is what I did on my first guitar and I was able to complete the wood working portion in 7 weeks working only at night, almost no appreciable time on weekends and I was watching and playing with my 2 year old at the time as well. He is 4 now and I went ahead and got another one so free time is even harder to come by. But, if you spend time planning each step before you do it, when you finally get to the "doing" part, you will be able to knock it out quickly and efficiently.
Best of luck with the rest of the build! I am looking forward to seeing it completed!

Looks great Brian. I too have been spending lots of time tooling up. I'm waiting for the humidity to go down before I start glueing.
You are making good progress it must feel good to finally sink your teeth into it.
