this link will show a total conversion of 3 martins to 1937 spec. I had posted this while we in the process but with it now complete you can see the guitars from the beginning to the end. I detailed the entire process and all procedures .

What a great thread and project that was. Wow! I would purely love to play one of those beauties. Wonderful job John!!
I would not be surprised if the entire saga could be made into an excellent book. Do it!

Thanks for posting John,

I had been following your work on the guitars since the last time you posted. Watching the process was truely inspirational. The guitars ended up looking great. Although I cringed when I saw photos of you with the finsihed guitars with a set of keys hanging from your belt.

Thanks , Brian ( oval soundhole ) was at Nazfest and he got to play a few of my guitars as I got to play his . It was a great few days . I am glad you can enjoy the documentation . It took a while but did bring them back to life.

I really enjoyed the whole project. The Braz looks great on those Dreads! Nice that you were able to build them to the old specs as well.
