Sean - yes, the labels are still needed and would really appreciated. Let me know what ideas you have.

Great, I will work on a few designs for labels.

Since I have been overlooking this topic, I asked John if it would be alright to add a section to the website to create awareness of the project. I have created a section for the charity project on the home site where people are directed to the topic directly from that page.

We can update it with pertinent information and I can make sub-pages if need be. If there are any photos of progress and so forth I will post them there.

Visit the page and let me know if there are any spelling errors or informational errors. http://www.kitguitarsforum.com/?d=charity

Sean, seems like this task was saved just for you, I mean, labels being designed by a website designer dude, also (to the best of my knowledge) this will be the only piece of anything on these guitars that will tie them in any way to KGF. The sense that I have (and at the risk of speaking for everyone which I hate to do) is that our motives here is the "possible" benefits from the end result of the project rather than the project itself, in other words I don't think that anybody's incentive is promotion, individualistically (spell check) or collectively. Maybe if you could, make up a couple or more samples of labels and maybe we could all make a shout out as to the one we feel would be best (or least) representative. Of course this is just an idea, and Dave B should be consulted since he is ramrodding this gig, I ain't trying to be the HMFIC here.

Well I'm a first-time hmfic. Whatever that is.
I liked your idea of a shout out re: a choice of labels.
Back to the ram-rodding!

I will certainly post my designs as I finish them and let them go to a vote. Also, I was reading that maybe we wanted to have a message written on them somewhere on the lines of "From Your Friends at KGF." I think something like that would be great. If anyone had suggestions for a message we could try to come up with that as a group too.

The design and the message if any are wide open to suggestions. As is anything else concerning the project.
