Finish is all about prep. You will know if it isn't cured . Once you start gumming up the sand paper . Keep us posted , we all like shiney

Shiny is good. Stuck to schedule, three heavy coats, wait a week, level sand, repeat, repeat, repeat, a total of four sessions, waited one whole month to cure then started sanding through all the grits (micro mesh) and finished it off with Maguires swirl remover.

I was waiting for someone to say "you finally closed the box" wa wa wa, could I get a drum roll please? No Kevin, I do not sell them, I don't think many people would even pay what it costs for me to make them (materials). For example, let's say about 30 or 40 dollars for the cocobolo, about $175 in pearl and abalone, $30 for the lid stay arm thingy, so we're already over $200 and I haven't even figured in consumables, glue, sand paper, lacquer, and let's not even talk about labor. Yes, I could use less expensive woods, not as much shell inlay material, etc, I really do it because I just enjoy it, however, I have had a couple of people (friends) approach me about building them one (for money) and maybe I will.
