When to Drop Fill a Nitro Finish
My rosewood guitar is getting ready to be lacquered. There are some tiny gaps between sides and binding, and one t-tiny pinhole in the headstock inlay that won't fill with CA. Is drop fill before or after spraying the lacquer? What is best to use, unthined lacquer? Thanks for your advise...

GluBoost is advertising their CA for this purpose. I have used StewMac medium (20 weight) and Ace Hardware CA for this. I haven't used accelerator, but rather wait a couple of hours before scraping with a razor blade. Have done it on raw wood, and after some finish

Are you filling before or after applying finish?

first I do a seal then fill then seal after that I start finishing and will do about 6 to 8 coats. let that set for a week I drop fill at this time allow a week level sand buff and polish
I don't use glue boost but will set lacquer out in a glass jar for a few hours to stiffen and use that to drop fill.
