These TOGGLE clamps screw on and off my hardboard build sheet easily. A great jig for chiselling the ends of the braces. Thank you whoever you were that gave me the idea. These clamps came from China and were dirt cheap/http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360545394672? ... 1497.l2649

I should add that I put a piece of suitably sized softwood under the end of the brace I am thinning to support it. I also use a fine diamond stone to sharpen the chisel every so often. Seems to work.

I like it... could be integrated into your radius disk (if you use one) to avoid needing to shim the end of the brace.
