I cut the length of my guitar sides to fit snugly in the
mold and i guess I went haywire......Please help

Try pulling the end of the sides together at the neck end.......and leave the gap aon the tail end. If it fits the form decently, glue the sides to the tail block leaving the gap. The end graft will be installed where the gap is.
If the sides dont fit the mold well with the gap at the tail, you may have to touch the bends up on a bender so they will fit.

end and it's about a hair over 1/16. That shouldn't be bad at all since the
end graft will be a good bit wider.
