My Latest Build!
Hey Guys,
I thought you might like to see what ELSE I do in my shop when I'm not working on a guitar.
This is my latest build. It is a Bird & Trout model made from 440C stainless steel, brass, and some awesome stabilized birdseye redwood for the handles. This one was a commission build and it is shipping to the customer tomorrow.
I have two more knives on the bench almost done, then...............
FINALLY ON TO THE WALNUT/REDWOOD OM!!!! YEAH!

Cutting edge - John you are definitely on your game today :-)
Kevin - really nice knives. My brother took a stab (!) at making them and turned out it was a lot harder than he thought.

When it comes to building knives you really "cut the muster". Looks really nice, just remember what John always says "be sure to put the strings on the outside".
