Yeah, more pictures (said the fellow newb).
Slowest builder on the forum. These things take time. Apparently.

Cool - that was my initial thought, but then doubt crept in and i got myself a bit worked up. Thanks to all for your support.

I'll get more pics as soon as i get something significant completed....

Is there any way a Mod could move this to either the kit guitar board or the begginers questions board? I think i should've posted this there...

Quick update - installed the rosette this evening. Again, a minor set-back: the outer ring broke removing it from dry fitting. Just trimmed up the broken ends and butted them together in the channel. Won't know how it really worked till i take off the caul tomorrow, but i think theres a good chance i'll be the only one who knows where it is.

Anyway, no pics of current state - nothing special to be seen. Will be shaping x bracing and making the radius sanding bar tomorrow. I'll probably post pics once i'm done with the top, but will pick that up in the blog section i'm thinking.

One thing to note: When i first checked out the kit from stew mac, i notice there was a nasty chip in the diamond on the back of the peg head. Painlessly and promptly replaced by SM after a quick call. Seems to be the common customer service experience when you browse this board a bit.
