Re: Ash & Cedar Baritone
I think so, Tony. Unfortunately I have the "one more click" syndrome with those types of straps! This just has spring loaded teeth, reducing my chance of imploding the uke before the strings get a chance to!!

Re: Ash & Cedar Baritone
It's strung up! The action is adjusted! and it plays Great! Deep, rich tones and lots of sustain. Just what I was looking for. Adding the extra 1/2 inch to the body depth turned out to be a good move. Here are the details if I haven't mentioned them already...
Back & Sides: Curly Ash
Top: Western Redcedar
Binding & Neck: Mahogany
Rosette: Curly Abalone
Bridge & Fretboard: Rosewood
Nut & Saddle: Bone
Thanks to RC Tonewoods for great looking material and a special thanks to John Hall at Blues Creek Guitars who made a custom sized mold and custom bent the sides and bindings for the project. Their attention to details and customer service are a rare thing these days!
OK, so where are all the other Ukes?!?!

Very Cool is what I thought when they said send more pictures!
It was a fun project too, something a little different.
