No matter how well I tape I always get at least a little color coat overspray on the binding sides. I scrape the top but the sides get 3 or 4 spots usually just 3-4 mm that gets under the tape . What is the best way to remove this? I have tried ultra fine scotch bight. It worked ok but was hard to control and I removed some finish of the wood. What do you use? 1000 grit sandpaper? I tried a razor blade but my hands shake so bad I'm afraid I'll gouge the wood without a guide. I use a cut off dowel to hold the blade for the top because the sides are flat. I can't use it on the sides because the top is not flat and I'm afraid i'll mess up the top.

Re: removing overspray from binding
I will try that. Thanks. Right know I still need to get the overspray already there. I have been using stewmac orange. Usually works well. I think its user error.
