It's the extendable leg that needs to be fixed. The rod is bent in several places and needs straightening. The wooden plug is badly worn & distorted in shape. I have a buddy who will turn a new plug on his lathe. Also, the hole in the body is badly worn & out of round from the abuse it took. The plug is held in the body with a tapered fit.
