Zebra Wood Binding

Post by Darryl Young »

Where could I find some nice, stripey zebrawood binding with some dark streaks through it? Alternatively, if I could find a nice board, I could cut my own. RC Tonewoods has zebrawood binding but it also states there are areas in it with no striping so I'm unsure about it.

Any thoughts on how this would look with mahogany? I read where it was used by another luthier on another site and although I haven't seen that combo, I've been intrigued.
