That's cool good idea, how much at the hi tech print shop?
Solid block?
I sent a 3D model off today and received sticker shock

That print? Cost of material, which is cheap (PLA plastic).
We’re using a real cheap printer to do some learning while our fancy machine is coming.
What do you need printed?
Edit - not completely solid. It’s a lattice inside, as most 3D stuff is.

Looks like there's files available for all sorts or radii. GREAT IDEA. I used to have access to a makerbot at work and they provided all the filaments too. It was like a marketing thing to attract nerd candidates for hire. Free cappuccino and makerbot. Worked like a charm. Those days are long over.

Nice.
I didn’t check thingiverse for this one, just modeled it up. I have printed some other stuff off that site though.
Nerd candidates? My kinda place.
