well it has been quite an experience. It didn't come out perfect but I didn't expect it to. It's playable and thats what I was looking for.I hope to build another soon and I'm sure i'll pay more attention to detail now knowing the basic building procedures. I also hope to obtain a few more tools to help make things easier the next go around. This forum has been a big help during the project. My questions were usually answered on existing posts without need to post a question. Thanks should go to the experienced builders for helping guys like myself who decide to take on a project like this with out an ounce of knowledge. I hope the pictures turn out.

THat looks great! What did you use for the finish? And more importantly, what is the guitar made of?

thanks for the positive comments. This is a Stew Mac 000 kit with mahogany back and sides. I used KTM9 brushed on since i didn't have spray equipment. Zpoxy for a filler. The brush on method presented some problems but worked fine for learning. I've never done any kind of finish work so I guess anything would have presented its problems to me.

Kyle,
There is NOTHING wrong with that axe! You crafted a fine looking guitar there.
Congrats, and yes, thank you for showing us.
I for one like looking at other builders guitars almost as much as I enjoy building my own.....:>)
