Build Number 2

Here is a guitar I built for my Daughter. She picked out the purfling, back strip, tuners, fret markers, end strip and stain. It's an OM with Mahogany back and sides and sinker redwood top. Sounds sweet. Not perfect but better than the last one.

Hack,
It turned out great. I've seen that American Indian looking purfling and wondered how it would look.
It is really neat. I think that kind of a theme works really well on a guitar.......maybe some turquoise too.
So what is coming next?

I made #3 for my daughters husband. My daughter is a pianist......gosh, what a project that would be!!!!!!!!!
She might like to have a guitar too though, I may just do that...maybe #7 or 8.

The bindings really looks fun, your daughter must love the guitar. I recently sat with my 17 year old daughter to pick out the inlays for a 0 size guitar I am making for her. It is a really valuable way to give time and love to your daughter.
