New arrival

At long last I've finished and strung up #2, a parlor guitar that I call the Bling Baby. I think I had essentially all of the construction done last Spring, but applying the finish and "finishing the finish" satisfactorily just takes me a while (but I'm getting better). The base kit is the Antes parlor kit from LMI.
EIR back and sides
Bear claw Sitka top
Koa bindings, rosette, tail graft, and heel cap
Ebony headplate, fretboard, and bridge
Torch inlay, fretboard markers, and shamrock inlay on heel cap from Andy DePaule
Paua purflings on body and rosette are zipflex from Kevin Ryan
Tuners are Gotoh gold 3-on-a-plate
Bridge pins are ebony with a paua dot
Finish is EM6000

It needs to settle in for a while before I do the final set up, but it puts out a lot of sound for such a small box.

I now have #3 (an OLF OM) pretty much built, and it's amazing how much less intimidating it is when you've been through the process a couple of times before.

Oooohhhh La La!! Purty Purty!
Bling Baby fits it well as that baby was very well executed.
I bet it is fun to play too.
