I started this guitar last December. It was 6 months and 22 days in the making.
This is my 8th guitar. I made it for a friend who is doing missionary work in England. We haven't figured out yet how to get it to him.
He is excited to get the guitar in his hands. It is not the best finish I've done, but it looks good, and really sounds great.
It is quite loud, but well balanced.

East Indian Rosewood B & S
Carpathian Spruce top
Bracing is all Sitka Spruce, standard X with some scalloping
Madagascar Rosewood fretboard and bridge
Bloodwood bindings
EIR Headstock
Headstock inlay and tail wedge are Macacuaba
Gotoh gold tuners, gold frets
Pickguard is Cocobolo
Finish is sprayed Mohawk Nitro lacquer
Pick up is JJB Electronics Artist 330

These pickups are really a great deal. No preamp, no battery, no controls, just a copy of the K & K mini and it works great.
If you haven't tried them, do so. You will be impressed.

If I can make a short sound bite that will upload I'll try and do so.

Gorgeous! I really like how the whole guitar goes together. The pearl, the cocobolo pick guard and the bloodwood bindings all combine into a really elegant looking guitar. Looking forward to the sound clip.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, the Bloodwood/EIR contrast
is visually stunning.

Thanks guys. My customer choose the wood scheme. It is a nice contrast.
The bloodwood binding was thinned to .070" and it bent with no issues in my bender.

A sound clip...hmmmmm.
Daughter and grandkids are here and there is no room to breathe, but perhaps in a couple of weeks I can sit and do a short clip.

So here is an update on this guitar. It has been in England for a few months now. Around Christmas time the owner had the guitar leaning up against a chair, tipped it over, and it hit "just right" on the head stock and popped the neck at the heel loose.....bolt on, those darn screwed in inserts pulled loose. He was able to do the repair himself as I talked him through getting the fretboard extension off and removing, then epoxying the inserts back in. It is back together, all is well and he still loves the guitar.
I finally received a sound clip from him play "Indy" (his name for the guitar).
He does a pretty good job on this Adirondack Mountains.
