first kit build

This was my first kit. It was a 000 kit from Martin. The neck block was shaped differently than the heal of the neck. I believe the neck was for a higher end model. I had to fill in the block with wood then re cut the joint. other than that, I had to do a lot of re-shaping and such. I ended up using just true oil on the whole thing. I really like the sound from this guitar and spending a lot of time on the neck and frets really paid off.

Really Really nice...how did you do the headstock logo? I have been thinking of doing one as I am also building my first kit guitar. Thanks
