Inlay

I had some time the other day since I was all caught up on my work and waiting for some finishes to cure I decided to do a little inlay sample to show customers the type of things that can be done. This is my signature inlayed in MOP. This is not on an actual guitar but rather a cut off from a fret board. The frets are spaced the same as the 11-12 frets to show what it would look like as a position marker.

It was done with nothing more than a fine Sharpie and a jewelers saw. Well I used my drill press to make starter holes for the pierced sections.

That's some fine cutting. I am trying to get my patience to the point I don't try to rush something like that.
